– Minimum A-C grades at GCSE level in Maths and English

– Banking or accounts experience essential

Compliance Assistant vacancy:

Currency Matters is recruiting for a Compliance assistant to join our team in Ormskirk.
Job description:
The candidate will be reporting to the Compliance Manager and assist in all aspects of Anti Money Laundering Compliance. Monitor all transactions to ensure compliance with all Regulations and policies. Ensure all required documentation is in place before transactions are processed. Conduct extensive online research to verify information provided. Carry out regular compliance inspections of agents and clients. Monitor for and report any suspicious activity to the Money Laundering reporting Officer as required by the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.

– Excellent analytical skill
– Ability to work to strict deadlines
– Exceptional attention to detail
– Great numerical skills
– Arabic a distinct advantage
